Master Shipwright
Svendsen’s Boat Works is seeking a full-time master shipwright to help satisfy its growing boat repair and retrofit business. Applicants shall have mastery of all aspects of wooden boat repair and construction, including structural framing, decking and spars. Applicants should also have skill in the installation and integration of marine electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, with the ability to coordinate extensive repair and retrofit projects from beginning through completion. Preference will be given to candidates with formal training in boat building, ABYC certifications and a history of stable employment. Marine Diesel Engine Mechanic
Svendsen’s Boat Works, Inc., is seeking an experienced marine diesel engine mechanic to service its growing business. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in servicing marine diesel engines, preferably in recreational sail/power boats and smaller commercial vessels. Candidates with a proven track record of stable employment, and ABYC certifications, will be given preference.
